The Articles of Capitulation outlined the terms of General Cornwallis's and England's surrender at Yorktown, eventually leading to the end of the Revolutionary War and independence of the Colonies from British rule. The Articles were drafted at the Moore House, which is depicted in an illustration. Features the signature of Cornwallis.
