Product Details:

The Battle of Flamborough Head by British maritime artist Richard Paton portrays the intense battle between the American ship Bonhomme Richard, commanded by John Paul Jones, and the British warship HMS Serapis on September 23, 1779, during the American Revolutionary War. This naval engagement, which took place off the coast of Yorkshire, England, is one of the most celebrated battles in American naval history. The battle became legendary for Jones' famous retort to a British request for surrender, "I have not yet begun to fight!"
