Product Details:

Alonzo Chappel’s portrait of Samuel Adams depicts one of the most influential leaders of the American Revolution. Samuel Adams (1722–1803) was a key organizer of colonial resistance against British rule, playing a crucial role in events like the Boston Tea Party and the formation of the Sons of Liberty. Adams helped coordinate opposition to British policies, including the Stamp Act (1765) and Townshend Acts (1767). He played a leading role in planning this act of defiance against British taxation. As a delegate, Adams helped push for independence, signing the Declaration of Independence (1776). Later in life, he served as Massachusetts’ governor, promoting republican values.
