Product Details:
Ronald Reagan, Portrait & Quote, “Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction." is one of Reagan''s more famous early political quotes. Reagan first said this famous line during a speech to the Phoenix Chamber of Commerce on March 30, 1961, long before he became President (he was still a rising political figure and former actor at the time). His point was that liberty isn't inherited automatically — every generation must actively work to preserve it. Reagan believed that if citizens became complacent, external threats (like Soviet communism) or internal neglect could easily cause America’s freedoms to erode. This idea became a major theme throughout Reagan’s political career, including during his presidency (1981–1989), when he took a hard stance against the Soviet Union ("evil empire") and pushed for a strong military and democratic values globally.
