  • Printed on antique parchment paper that goes through an 11 step process to give it an aged authentic look. Each paper is unique with characteristics such as (but not limited to), golden or yellow hues, crinkling, puckering.
  • Frame measures approx. 16 3/4" wide  x 19 1/2" tall

Reproduction of a Union recruitment broadside. "Mulligan's Brigade! Last Chance to Avoid the Draft!" posted in 1863. The first military draft occurred in 1863 and recruits received bounty payments for volunteering to serve. By the war's end, volunteers received half a billion dollars in bounty payments.
