Product Details:

The Wyoming Massacre by Alonzo Chappel. It depicts the infamous Wyoming Massacre, which took place on July 3, 1778 during the American Revolutionary War in the Wyoming Valley, Pennsylvania. The battle involved British forces, along with their Iroquois allies, attacking American militia forces and settlers in the valley. The American defenders were overwhelmed, and after the battle, many settlers were massacred. Chappel's painting captures the violent and chaotic moments of the massacre, highlighting the brutality faced by the settlers at the hands of the British and Native forces.
