Product Details:

Fatal Wounding of Casimir Pulaski During the Attack on Savannah, October 9th, 1779 by Stanisław Kaczor-Batowski captures the moment of General Casimir Pulaski’s mortal wounding during the Siege of Savannah, one of the key battles of the American Revolutionary War. The Siege of Savannah was a joint Franco-American effort to retake the city from British forces. It ended in failure for the allied forces, and General Pulaski, a Polish nobleman and cavalry officer who fought for American independence, was fatally wounded during a cavalry charge. Pulaski was credited for helping save the life of George Washington during the Battle of Brandywine on September 11, 1777.
