Product Details:

Colonial Militia. Independent Company Organizations 1774-1775 by Henry Alexander Ogden is a historical illustration depicting American colonial militias on the eve of the Revolutionary War. During 1774-1775, as tensions escalated between the American colonies and Britain, many towns and colonies formed independent companies—volunteer militia units separate from the British-controlled provincial militias. These units, often self-equipped and trained, played a crucial role in early battles like Lexington and Concord.
