Product Details:
The "Battle of New Orleans" by Dennis Malone Carter is a dramatic historical painting depicting the climactic engagement of the War of 1812, where American forces, under General Andrew Jackson, decisively defeated a much larger British army on January 8, 1815. This battle became a symbol of American resilience and military prowess. The Battle of New Orleans was fought after the Treaty of Ghent had been signed but before news of the treaty reached America. It was the final major battle of the War of 1812 and solidified Andrew Jackson's status as a national hero.
