Product Details:
This set include is a reproduction of James Walker's "Battle of Gettysburg" illustration paired with three maps detailing the troop movements of both armies, and an exact replica of Abraham Lincoln's Gettysburg Address printed on Antique Parchement. The three maps in with the Battle of Gettsburg are: Map 1 shows troop positions on July 1st pm. Map 2 shows troop positions on July 2nd pm. Map 3 shows troop positions on July 3rd am, the day of the disastrous "Picketts Charge".
The Battle of Gettysburg marked the turning point of the Civil War. With more than 50,000 estimated casualties, the three-day engagement was the bloodiest single battle of the conflict.
