This is a unique combination of The Battle of Atlanta: Death of General James McPherson by Kurz and Allison paired with a very detailed map of Sherman's Siege of Atlanta which began directly after the Battle of Atlanta. The Siege of Atlanta, which took place from July 22 to September 2, 1864, met it's primary objective of capturing the city of Atlanta, a vital transportation and supply hub for the Confederacy.
